Job summary

Qualifications

• Educational Technician I-III Certification by Maine DOE.
• Current CHRC fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Supports direct academic and behavioral instruction to children individually, in small groups, and in classroom settings.
• Perform non-instructional, non-evaluative functions; Help students master equipment/instructional materials assigned by the teacher.
• Provide classroom management functions; assist with playground/recess, lunch and bus duties as requested; supervise during drills and field trips.
• Work cooperatively and positively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Participate in in-service training programs as assigned.
• Perform Personal Care duties (i.e. feeding, lifting, toileting, etc) as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising special education teacher, principal, or Director of Special Services.
