Pearson is seeking a Business Analyst to support data-driven decisions across Product Management, Operations, and Engineering. The role focuses on discovery, requirements, governance, and analytics to improve student and educator experiences within Pearson Virtual Schools.

The candidate will collaborate across teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements and drive scalable solutions aligned with Pearson’s objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar enterprise applications.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discovery to understand business problems, user needs, and opportunities.
• Document current and future state processes using structured analysis.
• Develop and maintain business requirements, process flows, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate business needs into clear documentation for product, engineering, and operations teams.
• Support governance reviews and align with compliance and data governance.
