Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; options include two years of college, an associate’s degree or higher, or passing the ParaPro Assessment.
• Proficiency in basic English and mathematics; ability to use technology effectively.
• Experience with children in educational settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers by preparing instructional materials and equipment.
• Coordinate space and equipment for specialized instructional programs.
• Lead small group activities under teacher guidance.
• Assist with curriculum adjustments for diverse student needs.
• Assist in collecting assessment data and maintaining confidential records.
• Maintain records and enforce classroom rules.
