Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; may include Associate’s degree or higher or valid ParaPro certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in typing, filing, and office procedures with strong communication.
• Experience with children in an educational setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing materials and equipment for instructional activities.
• Schedule space for programs and coordinate equipment and seating as needed.
• Assist in following long- and short-term lesson plans prepared by teachers.
• Lead small groups under teacher guidance to support active learning.
• Assist in adapting materials for diverse learners and needs.
• Help maintain records and confidentiality of student information.
• Assist in classroom management and behavior support strategies.
• Support in collecting assessment data and organizing it for review.
• Provide instructional assistance as planned by the teacher or administrator.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and collaborate with staff.
