Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Student Support Assistant in Bexley to provide 1:1 and small-group support to students, including those with SEND and ASD. You will work closely with teachers to help learners access the curriculum and participate confidently in the school day.

The role emphasizes supportive, non-judgemental engagement, pastoral care, and the development of communication and social skills, with a focus on inclusive education and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEND/ASD/SEMH beneficial.
• Ability to provide 1:1 and pastoral support.
• Comfortable supporting students throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to students with ASD and additional learning needs.
• Help students engage with lessons and classroom activities.
• Provide practical and emotional support throughout the school day.
• Work alongside teachers to help students access the curriculum.
• Support students with organisation, concentration and maintaining focus.
• Provide pastoral support and act as a trusted adult.
