Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd in Bromley is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils needing additional help and to support across SEND, Autism and ADHD.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, help manage behaviour, and work with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to maintain an inclusive classroom.

This role offers a daily rate of £100-£120, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with immediate start and ongoing consultant support.

Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity within a supportive school environment?

Pink Tile Education is currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils in a school based in the Bromley area . This role would suit someone who is passionate about supporting children with SEND, Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.

You will play an important role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and engage positively within the classroom.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 support to pupils who require additional help
• Supporting pupils with SEND, Autism and ADHD
• Helping to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour
• Supporting small intervention groups
• Providing targeted learning support
• Assisting pupils with their classroom activities and learning
• Encouraging pupils to develop independence and confidence
• Supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs
• Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and other support staff
• Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Learning Support Assistant will be someone who:

• Has an interest in SEND, Autism and ADHD
• Can provide effective 1:1 and small-group support
• Is able to encourage and motivate pupils

Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, SEND Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor or within a school, care or youth setting would be advantageous.

Pay & Holiday Pay

The advertised daily rate is inclusive of 12.07% PAYE holiday pay.
