Job summary

The Office of Economic Innovation and Partnerships at the University of Delaware is seeking an Education Specialist for a Fall 2026 Spin In team in Newark, DE. This 15-hour weekly, in-person position offers hands-on product development experience across health and human performance content.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including engineers, analysts, marketers and athletes to design a digital prototype and deliver engaging educational material for youth aged 6–13.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BS program education-related field; or similar that provides experience in development of education and course curriculum.
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team; experience preferred.
• High attention to detail; excellent communication skills and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze research programs and data.
• Knowledge of basic premises of human performance and practical understanding of injury prevention, physical conditioning and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a product development team to design an interactive, web-based prototype of the product.
• Translate curriculum material into a digital delivery format aligned with best practices in education.
• Conduct market research and analysis to establish needs for youth audiences (6–13).
• Develop a digital delivery system (website/app) ensuring engaging UX and multimedia elements.
• Validate progress, collect data and assess feedback with mentors and stakeholders.
• Ensure the project is delivered on target with high quality standards.
