OpenAI is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to partner with our Education sales team, supporting Higher Education and K-12 as OpenAI tools scale. You’ll advise educators, administrators, IT leaders, and institutional stakeholders, applying AI to enhance teaching, learning, and operations while upholding privacy and security standards.

Based in New York City with a 3-day-in-office hybrid model, the role offers relocation assistance to new hires and close collaboration with Go-To-Market,

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years in technical pre-sales or advisory roles.
• Ability to own complex, high-stakes engagements independently.
• Experience presenting to senior leaders and educators/IT leaders.
• Deep knowledge of IT security and privacy for B2B SaaS.

Aufgaben

• Deliver technical pre-sales support for Education customers.
• Demonstrate value of OpenAI tools, build demos and scoping use cases.
• Create and maintain technical docs and FAQs.
• Collaborate with Education GTM, Policy/Global Affairs, and GRC teams.
• Mentor other Solutions Engineers and share best practices.
• Address security, privacy, and compliance needs in customer engagements.
