Just Right Reader, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Sales to build, coach, and lead a team of Partnerships Directors who are largely new to sales. They come from education backgrounds and will be guided to develop strong sales instincts while preserving their educator credibility.

The role emphasizes teaching and coaching, defining what good sales execution looks like, and creating playbooks, routines, and standards to scale a mission-driven sales function.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing people, ideally in education, sales, or consulting.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Highly organized with structure, rhythms, and accountability in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication and storytelling with educators, business leaders, and executives.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving to identify root causes and take action.
• Natural curiosity about sales and a willingness to learn, test, and document.

Responsabilités

• Directly manage and develop a team of Partnerships Directors with clear expectations and goals.
• Build foundational sales skills for reps transitioning from education backgrounds.
• Establish regular routines for pipeline reviews, forecasting, and deal strategy.
• Own the team's HubSpot data, visibility into pipeline, activity, and forecast.
• Partner with the CEO and Sales leadership to translate priorities into clear direction.
