Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a school or district administrator (principal, assistant principal, superintendent, etc.).
• Strong understanding of foundational literacy and the science of reading.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment and collaborate with a team.
• Comfort with storytelling, strategy, and using data to guide decisions.
• A natural drive to sell with a track record of closing deals or selling programs in education.

The Role: Partnerships Director

At Just Right Reader, we create decodable books that are engaging, effective and enjoyable. We're hiring educators who have significant experience at the administration level of a school or school district to serve as a sales representative in our Partnership Director role.

As a Texas-based Partnerships Director, you’ll travel extensively outside of the state to work directly with district and school leaders to understand their needs and bring solutions that help students learn to read. You will also play a major role in growing our presence by developing relationships, attending regional events, and converting those relationships into long-term, revenue generating partnerships.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES EXTENSIVE TRAVEL

What You’ll Do:

• Consistently meet or exceed your sales goals for district growth and product adoption

What You Bring:

• At least 3 years of experience as a school or district administrator (such as principal, assistant principal, superintendent or assistant superintendent)
• Strong understanding of foundational literacy and the science of reading
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment and contribute to a collaborative team
• Comfort with storytelling, strategy, and working with data to guide decisions
• A natural drive to sell - this can mean you've closed deals in education, pitched programs to your district, or even worked retail in college. You're energized by the challenge of getting to "yes" and aren't afraid to own a sales quota
