Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Radiation and Cellular Oncology seeks a Program Manager to oversee residency and medical student education programs, coordinating academic and administrative operations and supporting departmental strategic initiatives.

This role partners with program leadership to ensure accreditation compliance, manage recruitment, scheduling, rotations, and reporting, and lead cross-functional projects across education and administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum college/university degree in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience administering Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs and using relevant databases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative aspects of the residency program and medical student education, including recruitment, scheduling, didactics, rotations, alumni records, and verification of training.
• Coordinate residency recruitment, applications, interviews, ranking, and Match per NRMP guidelines.
• Lead cross-functional projects for departmental leadership and coordinate strategic/operational initiatives.
