Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 2 to lead comprehensive project efforts in the core project management family. You will oversee safety culture, prestart processes, and bid package development, coordinating with subcontractors, owners, architects and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 5+ years in construction management, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a willingness to travel or relocate as project needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years construction management experience.
• Must have valid and unrestricted driver’s license and be willing to travel/relocate.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness through action and mentoring.
• Manages the prestart process and subcontractor buyout.
• Supports the preconstruction team with quantity takeoffs, trade coordination and scope development.
• Develops and updates project schedules for preconstruction and construction activities.
• Manages submittal schedules, change requests and coordination with architects/engineers.
