Cumming Group in Los Angeles is seeking a Constructability Review Specialist to support preconstruction efforts for K-12 and higher education facilities. You will work with project leadership to review scope, schedule, and design deliverables, providing value engineering recommendations to minimize RFIs and Change Orders.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Design Managers and Owner Authorized Representatives on public/educational projects with substantial project values, ensuring coordinated

Qualifications

• 15 years full-time professional experience with an Architecture degree; 10 years as Construction Administrator, 5 years as Designer
• 15 years as Project Superintendent or Project Manager on public/educational facilities or large commercial projects
• Construction Administrator experience on public/educational facilities with full responsibility
• Projects with construction value of $8M+ per project or $80M+ cumulative value

Responsibilities

• Support Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative during preconstruction
• Define and review Project Requirements Document scope and schedule
• Provide value engineering recommendations at design outset
• Comment on design deliverables to reduce RFIs and Change Orders
• Coordinate documents across design disciplines and with stakeholders
• Prepare comprehensive constructability reviews of pre-bid documents
• Collaborate with Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative
• Perform other duties as assigned
