Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Constructability Review Specialist in the Los Angeles, CA area to support preconstruction for education facilities. You will work with project leaders to review requirements, schedules and document consistency, reduce RFIs and Change Orders, and coordinate across design disciplines.

Required experience includes 15 years in senior construction roles for public/educational projects with high value, proficiency with RFCs, submittals, and change orders, and strong

Qualifications

• Requires 15 years full-time professional experience with an Architecture degree, including 10 years as Construction Administrator and 5 years as Designer.
• Or 15 years in Project Superintendent/Project Manager on public/educational facilities or large commercial projects, with multiple projects valued over $30M.

Responsibilities

• Support Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative during preconstruction.
• Define and review scope of work and schedule including interim housing requirements.
• Provide constructability review of pre-bid documents and coordinate with Design Manager.
