Job summary
CMTS LLC is seeking a highly experienced Constructability Review Specialist – General to support LAUSD Facilities Services Division projects in Los Angeles, CA. The role reviews project scope, schedules, and design/construction documents during preconstruction to identify conflicts and errors before bid and construction.
The candidate should have extensive architecture-related experience, with emphasis on constructability reviews, coordination among design teams, and ability to document issues
Qualifications
- Architecture degree preferred
- Two years of college coursework may be accepted with five additional years of qualifying experience
Responsibilities
- Define and review Project Requirement Document scope and schedule
- Review interim housing requirements as part of project planning
- Make value engineering recommendations early in design
- Review design deliverables for inconsistencies, ambiguities, conflicts, errors, and omissions
- Help reduce RFIs and change orders through constructability reviews
- Coordinate constructability review efforts with Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative
- Perform other duties as assigned
