Job summary

The Learning Lab Director at Arizona State Hospital will serve as the strategic liaison between the hospital, affiliated academic institutions, and community partners to oversee student, intern, and volunteer placements.

This role ensures high-quality, safe, and compliant educational experiences, coordinates rotation logistics, manages affiliation agreements, and supports the operational readiness of learning environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of healthcare operations, clinical education, or academic coordination.
• Experience managing clinical placements or working as clinical faculty is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical student placements across hospital departments while balancing requests and capacity.
• Manage affiliation agreements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Oversee orientation for students and volunteers and monitor learning environments.
• Collaborate with IT to implement an online monitoring system for placements.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
