Job summary

Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians is seeking an Educational Coordinator to deliver integrated educational services to TANF participants, assess readiness, and help individuals meet their educational plans while guiding them through GED/HiSET and college planning.

You will collaborate with the SSTTP team, coordinate with colleges and community programs, prepare monthly reports, and support families with resources to promote self-sufficiency, including workshops and data entry in the internal

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree is required; knowledge of education systems beneficial.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to work with diverse groups.
• Must be able to travel between sites and to offsite events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administers assessments to determine educational readiness and develops academic plans.
• Promotes educational opportunities and assists participants with GED/HiSET and college planning.
• Coordinates workshops and referrals with SSTTP and partner programs.
• Collects data, submits reports, and supports families to overcome barriers to self-sufficiency.
