Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred; significant related experience considered.
• Prior HR, administrative services or educational setting experience preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR team in day-to-day office operations.
• Greet staff and visitors and provide guidance on inquiries.
• Receive and direct calls and mail to appropriate personnel.
• Serve as primary contact with EduStaff for substitute fingerprint processes.
• Maintain and update personnel records, including PA 189 compliance.
• Assist with policies, guidelines and master agreements.
• Maintain highly confidential correspondence and documents.
• Oversee Livescan fingerprint functions and compliance with MSHP/FBI CJIS.
• Manage iChat processes for volunteers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate staff appreciation efforts and service awards.
• Disseminate HR information to departments and records.
• Assist in preparing HR reports and handbooks.
• Attend professional development to stay current on regulations.
• Coordinate trainings, meetings, and events; calendar and logistics.
• Support HR & Legal Services to advance district goals.
