Job summary

IRIS is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join our Education HR Consultancy team, supporting schools and academies with expert HR advice across contracts, policies, employee relations and organisational change.

You will partner with HR Business Partners and clients, deliver training, onboarding and guidance on HR systems, while building strong relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR role.
• Solid understanding of HR principles and people practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive, customer-focused approach to problem solving.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated with legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice to education clients and partners.
• Develop and review contracts, policies, and letters.
• Support recruitment and onboarding processes for schools and trusts.
• Deliver HR training and workshops both virtually and in person.
• Assist clients with HR technology usage and process improvements.
• Build trusted relationships and ensure service levels are met.
