Job summary

ESS in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Hiring Coordinator to deliver excellent applicant service and collaborate with the Account Manager to hire a high volume of substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff in Hamilton County Schools.

You will manage applicants through the hiring pipeline, coordinate interviews and trainings, assist with credentialing and paperwork, and enter data into payroll systems. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of HR/staffing experience.
• Knowledge of the onboarding process.
• Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to applicants throughout the hiring process.
• Move applicants through the hiring pipeline in a timely manner to accept assignments.
• Manage communication with candidates, interviews, and training sessions.
• Assist candidates with credentialing and new hire paperwork.
• Enter new employee data into payroll systems (tax, direct deposit).
• Audit documents and guide candidates through credentialing process.
• Provide administrative support to Recruiters and District Manager.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws.
