Genesee Intermediate School District is seeking a Finance Analyst for Shared Business Services to lead payroll, reconciliations, and staff training within one or more districts. The role emphasizes independent judgment and collaboration with the Finance Director to support school operations and financial accuracy.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years in accounting or business management; experience with SchoolsOPEN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, management, human resources, educational administration, or related field.
• Education requirement may be waived with seven (7) years of demonstrated successful school finance experience.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in accounting and/or business management; SchoolsOPEN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll processing and reconciliations for districts.
• Provide ongoing training and mentorship to business office staff.
• Manage specialized projects under the direction of the Finance Director of Shared Business Services.
• Collaborate with district finance teams to ensure financial accuracy.
