GEO Reentry Services, LLC. is seeking an Employment Education Coordinator to provide education services, assessments and referrals for probationers at the Day Reporting Center in California. The role emphasizes evidence-based practices and client-centered support.

You will learn and apply the What Works system while collaborating with staff to facilitate educational and employment advancement for clients, with occasional coverage at Porterville as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant experience in job development or education coordination.
• Knowledge of counseling techniques and ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual education assessments and create treatment plans.
• Refer probationers to employers, training and community resources.
• Provide counseling to improve employability and skill development.
• Assist in locating employment, college enrollment or vocational training.
• Coordinate with local employers to recruit probationers and coordinate opportunities.
• Maintain verification of probationer employment and document outcomes.
• May require coverage at Porterville location as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
