Job summary

The Planet Group in Greer, SC is seeking a Project Architect to lead the architectural discipline on industrial and technology-driven facility projects across the United States. Hybrid flexibility after onboarding and relocation support are offered.

You will oversee scope, schedule, and budgets, mentor staff and interns, coordinate with other disciplines, and drive design quality from concept through construction administration in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in architecture is required; licensure is highly preferred or obtainable soon.
• 8–10 years of architecture experience, with leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural discipline team across projects.
• Own scope, schedule, and budget and report variances.
• Serve as discipline team leader on assigned projects.
• Direct building system concepts from schematic design to construction.
• Review documents for accuracy and quality.
• Prepare project status reports and budgets.
• Conduct or document code research.
• Mentor staff and interns; support licensure progress.
• Coordinate with other discipline leaders to resolve conflicts.
• Lead project meetings when appropriate.
