Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an Infrastructure Solution Consultant to drive field sales for Data Center solutions in the Education market. You will partner with customers, sales teams, and ecosystem partners to design, position, and deliver tailored Data Center solutions that address complex business challenges for Higher Education and K-12.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience leading complex server, storage, and/or networking solutions in Data Center environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish trusted relationships with stakeholders from technical teams to C-suite executives.
• Independently identify, develop, and close new opportunities for Education customers within the territory.
• Achieve revenue and profitability objectives for Lenovo while driving growth across multiple product sets.
• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and solution content to a broad customer audience.
• Design and position Data Center solutions that align Lenovo mainstream products, services, and partner technologies to customer business and technical requirements.
• Coordinate the completion of technical aspects of RFPs, RFIs and proposal responses.
• Lead configurations, demonstrations, and interoperability discussions to meet customer requirements.
• Understand and adapt to Lenovo’s ongoing product and services developments.
• Represent Lenovo at industry trade shows, events, seminars, and customer briefings.
• Effectively and consistently use MSFT Dynamics and other reporting tools to track key sales metrics and consistently meet those metrics while delivering operational excellence.
