Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking an Education Liaison to manage the nuclear education center on site in North Carolina. This part-time role (3 days, 24 hours per week, Tue-Thu) focuses on delivering educational programs to neighbors and visitors and coordinating daily operations.

Responsibilities include opening and closing facilities, greeting guests, coordinating with Site Services, Security, IT, and Nuclear Communications, and organizing events and volunteers to promote nuclear energy.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching older students and adults.
• Ability to tailor presentations for diverse audiences.
• Experience with multiple audience groups.

Responsibilities

• Open and close facilities to accommodate groups and walk-ins during regularly scheduled hours.
• Maintain a presence during opening hours to answer questions and greet guests.
• Work with Site Services, Security and local IT to ensure facility is clean, landscaped, secure and in good working order.
• Work with Nuclear Communications to recommend IT equipment and materials to support education center presentations and activities, as needed.
• Suggest content for digital signage to promote education center activities.
• Manage education center email and public phone line. Work with Corporate Communications to respond to community questions via phone and email.
