GE Vernova is seeking a leader to manage a multi-phased training program for nuclear operators and technicians in Wilmington, NC, ensuring regulatory alignment and high-quality courseware development. You will guide human performance engineering, curriculum development, simulators, and trainer management to meet start-up and operating needs.

The role requires a strong track record in nuclear training, SRO experience, and ability to build strategic partnerships, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• At least 10 years of experience in BWR operations.
• At least 5 years of experience as SRO.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for nuclear training compliance and plan for start-up/operations.
• Develop strategy for resource needs for initial program development and long-term partnerships.
• Technical direction for all phases of new training development, including VR and simulator-based training.
• Support customer activity with cost, schedule, and technical performance reviews.
• Represent the program with nuclear industry organizations (COG, INPO, WANO, EPRI).
