Job summary

Kiddie Academy of Henderson is seeking a Center Director to oversee operations and education across the Academy, reporting to the Franchisee. The role drives education, operations, and marketing to improve profitability while upholding the Life Essentials curriculum and the academy’s mission.

You will recruit and develop staff, manage budgets, ensure licensing compliance, maintain quality standards, and build relationships with families, vendors, and licensing authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education required.
• Minimum two years in a center director/assistant director role.
• State director credential required.
• Experience with national and state accrediting agencies.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and practices.
• Ability to train, coach and mentor staff.
• Independence and teamwork capabilities.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Effective outward communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and education functions across the Academy.
• Recruit, hire and staff planning with weekly scheduling.
• Monitor budgets, expenses and licensing compliance.
• Foster a positive work culture and staff development.
• Engage with licensing authorities and maintain quality standards.
• Oversee facility maintenance and vendor coordination.
• Communicate priorities and goals to the team.
• Ensure developmentally appropriate programs for children.
• Represent Kiddie Academy positively to families and the community.
