Job summary

Jackson County Memorial Hospital Authority seeks an Education Center Administrator to promote the hospital's mission and manage computer-based learning systems. Responsibilities include maintaining records, ensuring timely training, and reporting activities to the department head.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• One year of experience in a comparable area.
• Pass pre-employment clerical and typing tests.
• Advanced computer and computer applications knowledge.
• Ability to create documents in Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate educational records for employees.
• Promotes timely completion of training for all employees.
• Creates learning courses in the computer based learning system.
• Inputs program requirements for each employee.
• Keeps current with changes in the learning system and coordinates with the Director.
• Assists employees with questions during courses.
• Coordinates educational programs (webinars, classes, etc.).
• Proctors and grades competency tests as assigned.
• Manages correspondence, filing, data input for the department.
• Reports monthly activities to department head by the 10th of every month.
• Registers DCE or other Education patients as needed.
• Produces attendee completion cards and certificates.
• Presents Education Center information at New Employee Orientation weekly.
• Performs job-specific duties and other tasks as assigned.
