Job summary

University of Mississippi Medical Center seeks a Health Professionals Educator to assess and coordinate training needs for healthcare staff, supporting staff development and performance improvement.

In this role you will design orientation programs, evaluate training effectiveness, analyze performance data, and mentor staff while promoting best practices and interdisciplinary collaboration across units.

Qualifications

• Degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s) and two (2) years of experience in healthcare, education, or program coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements orientation programs and materials for staff within an assigned area or unit.
• Evaluates training needs to ensure effective education and skill development.
• Monitors and analyzes staff performance data to identify opportunities for ongoing professional development.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to staff while supporting the integration of developmental best practices and professional fulfillment initiatives.
• Plan and facilitate educational programs and special events to promote professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Build partnerships with community organizations and/or payers to provide support and promote choices through outreach and education.
