Job summary

Hanover Research is seeking a Business Development Associate to prospect, schedule, and coordinate conversations with education leaders in the K-12 and Higher Education markets. The role involves heavy outreach by phone and email to set initial meetings and build relationships.

You will join a fast-paced, metrics-driven team in a hybrid environment with opportunities to advance quickly and gain exposure to research-based grant development support that drives student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience.
• 0–2 years work experience; leadership/internship experience ok.
• Comfortable with cold calling.
• Strong interest in sales/business development or client-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential new clients aligned with Hanover's capabilities.
• Craft targeted messages to senior education leaders based on institutional goals.
• Make 50+ calls and 15+ emails daily to secure initial meetings.
• Support the sales process and help a Development Director achieve goals.
