Job summary

Hanover Research is hiring a Business Development Associate for Education in a hybrid (DC area) or remote role. You will prospect, schedule meetings with education leaders, and nurture relationships in K-12 and higher education using phone and email outreach.

The role supports a Development Director, manages the outreach process, and trains under Hanover’s onboarding and coaching programs. A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is preferred, with 0–2 years in related work and a keen interest

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience.
• 0–2 years work experience; leadership or internship exposure helpful.
• Comfortable with cold calling and outreach.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential new clients and ideal roles.
• Build targeted messaging to senior leaders based on goals.
• Manage outreach; 50+ calls and 15+ emails daily to secure meetings.
• Support the Sales Process by assisting a Development Director.
