The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History at the University of Oklahoma is seeking a student Education Assistant to support the Education Department with their programs. This role works with Education Staff to assist with natural and cultural history programs for youth ages 3-17 and participates in activities, supervision, and preparation.
Responsibilities include classroom setup/cleanup, program preparation, and possible handling of specimens; some programs occur outdoors.
Pay Range: Targeted salary of $11/hour, based on education and experience.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, some evenings and weekends

Position Introduction
The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History is seeking a student Education Assistant to support the Education Department with their programs. This position will work with Education Staff to assist with natural and cultural history programs for youth ages 3-17. Students help museum educators conduct activities, supervise students, help with regular classroom set-up and clean-up, program preparation, and other duties as assigned. May help with handling museum specimens and objects, and collection care. Some programs take place outdoors.
