Job summary

Little Diversified Architectural Consulting in Newport Beach seeks a Project Manager for the Community Studio in Southern California. You’ll lead education projects from start to finish, collaborating with Principal and Sr. Designers to achieve client goals.

This role emphasizes client relations, budget and schedule management, team coordination, and quality control across design, space planning and sustainability; some travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of professional design experience; 3+ years of project management experience.
• CA Architectural license preferred or on registration track.
• Experience creating and developing overall design concepts with understanding of multiple project typologies.
• Emphasis on California schools and higher education projects involving DSA.

Responsibilities

• Manage education projects from beginning to end.
• Primary client relationship duties; collaborate with Principal and Sr. Designers to meet client goals.
• Focus on Project Management for an ongoing body of work.
• Manage support staff and consultants to produce and execute work.
• Client interaction, proposal writing, budget and schedule management, team coordination and quality control.
• Include some design, production and construction administration responsibilities.
• Some travel will be required.
