Job summary

Little, a diverse and transdisciplinary design firm, seeks a Project Manager for our Community Studio in Newport Beach, Southern California. You will manage education projects from concept to completion, coordinating with Principals and Sr. Designers to drive client goals with strong communication and leadership.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, and consultant coordination, delivering high-quality design and construction administration. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of professional design experience; 3+ years of project management experience.
• CA Architectural license preferred or on registration track.
• Experience creating and developing overall design concepts and formulating design presentation strategies with understanding of multiple project typologies.
• Emphasis on California schools and higher education projects involving DSA required.
• Strong organization, communication and presentation skills are a must.
• Proficiency in Revit; SketchUp, and programs used to prepare presentation documents such as PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage community education projects from start to finish, coordinating with Principal and Sr. Designers to meet client goals.
• Lead client relationships and manage proposals, budgets and schedules.
• Oversee coordination with consultants and internal teams to deliver high-quality design products.
• Supervise staff and consultants to execute extraordinary work and ensure quality control.
• Include some design, production and construction administration tasks; travel may be required.
