Job summary

Base44, an education-focused AI platform inside Wix, seeks a senior Account Executive to own the full sales cycle for K-12 and higher-ed segments nationwide. Build the playbook from scratch, engage district and institutional leaders, and drive early revenue in a fast-growing, post-acquisition environment.

You will close complex deals, navigate RFP/RFQ processes, and shape the education GTM motion with product, marketing, and executive leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of B2B closing experience in Education or related field.
• Proven track record of quota attainment and complex deals.
• Understanding of Education procurement processes and budgets.
• Experience with AI, ML, data platforms, or product-led SaaS is a strong plus.
• Experience with bottom-up sales motions leveraging ICs to expand adoption.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting to closing new business within Mid-Market and Enterprise Education accounts.
• Navigate education procurement processes, including RFPs/RFQs, purchasing cooperatives, and budget/fiscal-year cycles.
• Translate Base44's product vision into real-world conversations with district and institutional stakeholders.
• Build early revenue by identifying, engaging, and converting high-potential Education prospects.
• Shape the foundational sales motion for Education, including messaging and segmentation.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and leadership to align GTM efforts for Education.
• Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers across district and institutional leadership.
• Accurately forecast deals, manage pipeline, and maintain CRM best practices.
