OpenAI seeks an Applied AI Architect for Education to own the technical strategy for education customers, guiding deployment and measurable impact from pre-sales to production value. You will shape use cases across ChatGPT Edu, API, Codex, and other solutions.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture or technical account leadership.
Ability to guide complex organizations from technical evaluation through production adoption.
Strong understanding of AI deployment, APIs, and cloud integrations in educational contexts.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical advisor and long-term technical relationship owner for a named portfolio of education customers.
Own the technical account plan, milestones, adoption priorities, and value realization path.
Lead discovery with institutional leaders to identify and prioritize use cases.
Translate priorities into applied AI architectures spanning models, data, security, and deployment.
Guide institutions through evaluations, demos, workshops, and proofs of value.
Track adoption, account health, and production readiness to ensure measurable impact.
