Impact Prosperity Partners in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a passionate Assistant Director of Educational Opportunity Center/Advisor to help underserved individuals access higher education and career success. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in academic advising, college access programs, or student services.
• Knowledge of FAFSA and federal financial aid processes.
• Experience with TRIO is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the leadership and daily operations of the Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) program
• Provide individualized academic advising, college planning, and career counseling to program participants
• Support recruitment, outreach, and retention efforts targeting first-generation and low-income adult learners
• Assist participants with college admissions applications, financial aid (FAFSA), and scholarship searches
• Develop and facilitate workshops on college readiness, financial literacy, and career development
• Maintain accurate participant records and assist with federal grant reporting and compliance
• Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, educational institutions, and local agencies
