The EOC Student Success Advisor exists to provide direct supportto program participants as they prepare for and transition intopostsecondary education and workforce training. The positionprovides academic, career, admissions, financial aid, and referralassistance while supporting outreach throughout the program’sservice target area.
40% Participant Advising, Case Management, and College Access Support: Manage an assigned caseload and provide individualized advising,counseling, mentoring, and support. Assist participants with college admissions, FAFSA/financial aid, scholarship applications,and connections to postsecondary education and trainingopportunities.
15% Outreach and Participant Recruitment: Develop and implementrecruitment strategies, conduct outreach throughout the EOC servicearea, and communicate program services and eligibility requirementsto prospective participants.
10% Community Partnerships and Referral Services: Develop and maintainrelationships with schools, community organizations, agencies, andother partners; connect participants, including veterans and adultlearners, with appropriate educational and support resources.
10% Workshops and Presentations: Develop and facilitate workshops andpresentations on financial literacy, study skills, goal setting,time management, work readiness, college access, and relatedstudent success topics.
15% Participant Records, Tracking, and Documentation: Maintain accurateelectronic participant records, document services provided, andmonitor participant academic progress, persistence, andoutcome
5% Program Outreach Materials and Events: Support the development ofprogram materials and coordinate resources and logistics foroutreach activities, community events, and presentations.
