Washington State University is seeking an Assistant Director of Education Abroad to lead advising operations and grow study-abroad participation across the WSU system. You will coordinate faculty-led programs with faculty, colleges and vendors while advising students on EA opportunities in their academic plans.

The role also covers Terra Dotta management, supervising student staff, and supporting risk management. Full-time, permanent position in Pullman, WA with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for one year of professional work experience.
• Experience in higher education administration, teaching, or student services.
• Demonstrated leadership skills or experience.
• Public Speaking experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with Terra Dotta software or similar platforms.
• Willingness to work outside regular hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Developing, maintaining, and improving daily advising operations of EA to increase participation across the WSU system.
• Coordinating development of faculty-led programs with WSU faculty, colleges, departments, and external vendors.
• Advising students on EA opportunities within their academic requirements.
• Collaborating with WSU Advising community to expand study abroad opportunities.
• Assisting with management and support for Terra Dotta.
• Supervising paid student staff and overseeing the student volunteer program.
• Serving as support for Risk Management & Crisis Situations.
