Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in education or a related field required to qualify for licensure.
• NC Licensure as a School Media Coordinator or progress toward licensure.
• Masters in Instructional Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years of classroom experience; five years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with building administrators to identify instructional technology training needs.
• Integrate technology training into the professional development plan.
• Plan, develop, model, and co-teach lessons with effective technology integration.
• Deliver professional development sessions on instructional software, hardware, and peripherals.
• Assist with integrating technology into daily instruction and learning activities.
• Research and deploy site-specific instructional hardware and software to support teaching and learning.
• Disseminate best practices and resources via newsletters, blogs, webpages, podcasts, etc.
• Maintain COPPA-compliant information on internet sites used in daily instruction.
