Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to accelerate our EdTech business within the World Wide Public Sector. You will own technical engagements, define architectures, and respond to RFPs, becoming a security SME for cloud applications.

You will collaborate with a world-class sales and business development team, capture best practices, and guide customers and partners across the AWS platform to achieve successful implementations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of experience in technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and the ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs.
• Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and security as it relates to customer applications and services.
• Lead knowledge sharing and mentorship within the AWS solution architect community.
