Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen and eligible for VA appointment.
• MD or DO degree from a school approved by VA for the year of completion.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine/surgery in US
• Residency training approved by VA in an accredited core specialty
• Clinical board certification or eligibility as required for faculty or practice

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in outpatient, inpatient, operating room, and ED settings.
• Supervise and train anesthesia staff, residents, students, and physician extenders
• Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and VA/VISN policies
• Share on-call duties according to schedule and provide coverage accordingly
• Participate in quality and compliance activities and related administrative responsibilities
