Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Salisbury, NC seeks an experienced Staff Anesthesiologist to provide complete anesthetic care across pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-anesthetic stages.

Responsibilities include maintaining licensure and privileges, and complying with Joint Commission standards. Eligible for Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) assistance with applicable terms and service commitments.

Qualifications

• Must have degree of doctor of medicine or equivalent.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Residency in core specialty leading to board eligibility.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthesia, and post-anesthetic care.
• Maintain clinical privileges and licensure, plus BLS/ACLS up to date.
