Dauch Corporation is a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier serving the global automotive industry. This EDM Specialist role focuses on planning, laying out, and performing bench and machine operations to construct, alter, and repair dies, tools, fixtures, gauges, and mechanisms.

The job requires an apprenticeship or equivalent experience, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to operate EDM equipment.

Qualificações

• State-qualified apprenticeship or equivalent experience with basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to perform difficult/technical calculations with decimals and fractions; read drawings and specifications.
• Extensive knowledge of tooling practices; set up, adjust, and operate machine shop equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills; train and support others; organize workflow per procedures.
• Program, operate and maintain wire and conventional EDM equipment.
• Lay out work and train lower skilled tool makers on operations.
• Perform complex setups beyond normal equipment capacities.
• Perform bench and assembly operations to fit, align, adjust and finish work.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, lay out, and perform bench and machine operations to construct, alter and repair dies, tools, gauges, fixtures, and related mechanisms.
• Train lower skilled tool makers on operations and procedures.
• Perform difficult machining operations with complex setups and improvised tooling.
• Perform critical bench and assembly operations to fit and finish parts.
• Operate and maintain wire and conventional EDM equipment.
