Job summary

Latham & Watkins LLP is seeking an Editorial Services Specialist in Downtown Los Angeles who will edit and write for a range of internal and external audiences, collaborating with the Brand & Communications team. The role requires coordinating nominations, conference summaries, and marketing copy, with a focus on clear, professional business writing.

The position may offer hybrid and in-office flexibility, with a focus on producing high-quality content under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of core business writing principles including external and internal communications, branding, tone of voice, and competitive intelligence.
• Professional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people at all organizational levels and outside the firm.
• Excellent language skills including reading, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary to ensure proper and efficient writing.

Responsibilities

• Editing/writing projects for internal and external audiences under tight deadlines.
• Coordinate development of awards nominations, survey responses, and other rankings submissions.
• Drafting and editing post-event summaries and marketing copies for conferences and seminars.
