Job summary

Latham & Watkins LLP, based in Downtown Los Angeles, seeks a Business Development Advisor – Content & Pitch Operations to lead major content initiatives and support systems for successful BD activities firm-wide. You will translate complex legal concepts into audience-ready materials and expand reusable resources.

The role requires exceptional writing, editing, and project-management skills, with strong collaboration with partners, lawyers, BD professionals, and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant and progressively responsible business development and marketing experience in a legal or professional services environment.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of cumulative experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing complex content-development and refresh projects from planning through delivery, coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, balancing multiple priorities, and driving completion without formal authority
• Collaborating with partners, lawyers, BD professionals, and other senior stakeholders to gather input, resolve issues, secure approvals, and proactively communicate status, risks, and opportunities
• Serving as a key administrator for Foundation, managing and enhancing its content, templates, taxonomies, configurations, and packet-related data to support pitch enablement and data integrity
• Leading and supporting initiatives to improve Foundation usability, content structures, workflows, reporting, and cross-functional adoption, including migrations, audits, governance, and collaboration with MarTech leadership
• Managing intake and prioritization of content requests, maintaining standards for content quality and governance, and driving process improvements that enhance team effectiveness and cross-functional collaboration
• Protecting and maintaining highly sensitive, confidential, privileged information that Latham & Watkins retains
