Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking an Editor/Researcher to provide production editing support for a fast-paced environment at the National Guard Bureau (NGB). Responsibilities include reviewing and refining written products for clarity, and supporting research and writing for official communications including congressional and leadership correspondence.

The role requires an Active Secret clearance, a BA/BS in English or related field, and 5+ years of editing experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, or related field.
• 5+ years editing, proofreading, and publication support experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in congressional/legislative correspondence editing and QA.

Responsibilities

• Review, revise, and edit correspondence daily for grammar, clarity, formatting, and regulatory compliance.
• Assess readability and formal writing conventions; communicate findings to originators.
