Job summary

QinetiQ US seeks a Senior Editor to lead editorial quality control for high-visibility executive correspondence and publications for the National Guard Bureau (NGB). The role sets editorial standards, reviews and edits products before senior leadership, and mentors other editors on tone, format, and accuracy.

The candidate will review materials for grammar, tone, and readability against executive standards, coordinate with staff to meet deadlines, and provide editorial advice to staff drafting

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in executive correspondence, technical editing, and writing-standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead editorial quality control for high-visibility executive correspondence and publications for the National Guard Bureau (NGB).
• Review, edit, and route incoming correspondence for grammar, formatting, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide recommendations on development and editing of policies, instructions, memoranda, and other formal guidance documents.
