Job summary

Teleion is seeking a Senior Content Editor to lead editorial standards during a major replatforming of the public website to Optimizely. The role will govern the editorial direction across hundreds of pages and guide a team of writers through structured, compliant content creation.

The ideal candidate will have senior editorial experience, hands-on editing, and familiarity with regulated content. A working role with a strong emphasis on collaboration, strategy, and migration within a design

Qualifications

Senior editorial experience with direct responsibility for an editorial standard or publication.
Built or rebuilt a style guide and enforced it.
Substantive editing across multiple writers with a single voice.
Experience with compliance or legal review in content,
Web/content migration in a publishing environment.
Experience in a design system or component-based publishing environment.

Responsibilities

Edit content across a component-based design system.
Create and implement a house style guide, voice and tone guidance, plain-language standards, terminology conventions, and accessibility content guidance.
Perform substantive editing for structure, argument, and clarity across the team.
Establish peer editing to ensure quality beyond a single reviewer.
Set final editorial quality bar for migrated and new content blocks before approvals.
Execute duties as assigned.
