REGEX SEO is seeking a Senior Editor to lead strategy and quality during a key leave, with a path to full-time. This fully remote contract role requires ramping quickly, owning editorial standards, and improving content quality across SEO-focused assets.

You’ll review briefs, ensure target alignment, and drive editorial processes. A strong candidate has 5+ years in strategic marketing editing and can operate independently while coordinating with writers and PMs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years editing strategic marketing content (SEO content, landing pages, emails).
• Experience in an agency or fast-moving environment with performance focus.
• Ability to read SEO strategy documents and identify weak points.

Responsibilities

• Review strategy before content exists and pressure-test briefs.
• Edit for strategic alignment and ensure content matches persona and funnel.
• Develop editing standards and QA processes where gaps exist.
• Provide direct, actionable feedback to writers to improve quality.
• Flag ranking opportunities and advise on structure for featured snippets.
